Staying at the Phu Wanalee Resort, Muu Si, Pak Chong, Nakhon Ratchasima

The Phu Wanalee Resort is located just outside Muu Si, a 10 to 15 minute walk, in a park-like setting.
When we arrive, the first impression is that it looks neat. The welcome at reception is friendly and efficient, and we are allowed to leave the car in front of reception because there are not many guests.
When we walk to the room we have to go up a few stairs to another building where the rooms are. We have a corner room on the first floor, which means another staircase.
The room looks neat and spacious and, like the buildings we have seen so far, is built in a traditional Thai style with wooden windows and doors that slope upwards.
The ceiling of the room is very high and runs in a point, if we look outside better we see that the entire roof runs in a point.

The room has a good double bed, well-functioning air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, kettle, cups and instant coffee, refrigerator with two bottles of water, flashlight, fohh, a spacious wardrobe with slippers, bathrobes, safe and umbrellas.
The bathroom is spacious, with a good sink, Western toilet, and a bathtub with shower curtain. The shower hangs above the bath, less convenient. There are four good towels and shower gel and shampoo from dispensers. It sometimes takes a very long time before there is hot water.
The room also has a small balcony with a seating area.

Behind the hotel is a large park-like garden, which also contains about ten bungalows. The garden is beautiful, nice to walk through, and there seem to be hornbills. At the back of the garden there is a bar near a nice water feature, the bar is only open a few days a week.

The Phu Wanalee Resort has a restaurant where breakfast is also served, sometimes in the form of a buffet, sometimes it is served. We are not very impressed with the breakfast and certainly not with the coffee.
The restaurant is only open for dinner on weekends.

Furthermore, the resort has free, unsecured WiFi which is sometimes very slow, a swimming pool, meeting rooms. fitness room, playground and room service.

We were here on Monday, November 27, 2023, on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 and on Thursday, November 30, 2023.

We paid THB 4785 (about 127 €) for three nights, including breakfast. We made a reservation in advance via Booking.com.
